Crucible Cast

I don't have a lot of experience with Actors and Actresses so I'll do my best.


Reverend Samuel Parris: Dwayne "Rock" Johnson
     I chose Dwayne for the part he played in "Game Plan". He was very greedy in the beginning and was only focused on himself. When Reverend Parris is very greedy and focuses more on himself than anyone else kind of like Dwayne did.














Tituba: Octavia Spencer
          I chose Octavia because of her performance in the movie "Help." In this movie she is not exactly a slave but hired help and she is blamed for something she didn't do. Kind of like how all of the bad things always land on Tituba's shoulders.


















Abigail "Abby" Williams: Lori Singer
     I chose Lori for the part she played in the old version of "Footloose." In this show she goes against everything that her father tells her. She goes sneaking out behind her back and doing things that she has been taught not to do. One of those things is dancing, just as Abby did.

Thomas Putnam: Kirk Douglas
       Kirk plays a man that owns a whole lot of land in a movie called "The Man From Snowy River." He is a very wealthy man and owns a bunch of land. He is a pretty greedy man. He has an only daughter like Thomas Putnam does.

Goody Ann Putnam: Amy Madigan
      In the movie "Field of Dreams" Amy is married to this man who owns a lot of land and turns his corn field into a baseball field. Goody Putnam's husband owns a lot of land and probably grew corn on it just like Amy's husband did. These two ladies' roles are similar in many ways.









John Proctor: John Wayne
     I chose John Wayne because John Proctor is a farmer. Farmer's are sometimes referred to as Cowboys. John Wayne has many roles that he plays as a Cowboy. I thought he would be a perfect fit.

Goody Elizabeth Proctor: Clare Wren
     Clare Wren is an actress in an old TV show called "Young Riders." She is the cook for a bunch of boys that work for the Pony Express. She knows how to work a farm and would be a great actress to play Goody Elizabeth Proctor.

Mary Warren: Ann B Davis
      I chose Ann because she is the maid on the TV show "The Brady Bunch." She takes care of all of the Brady kids and does it with a smile. I believe she would be the perfect actress for Mary Warren.

 Goody Rebecca Nurse: Julie Andrews
      When I thought of Goody Nurse I was reminded of the movies "Mary Poppins" and "The Sound of Music." In these movies Julie shows a lot of knowledge towards children. In "Mary Poppins" she is a maid and takes care of the children.

Reverend John Hale: Alan Rickman
     I chose him because he is in the movie "Harry Potter." This is the only show that has Magic and/or Witchcraft in it that I could stand to watch so I chose him. He is a teacher at Hogwarts which is a school or Magic. I thought he would fit perfectly.

• I was playing with my cousin and his dog in our field.
• I was playing with my cousin at preschool and we would tie girls up to the tree with jump ropes.

• I was riding a horse and was bucked off for the first time.
• I was helping/watching my brother build a dune buggy.

• I was hunting deer by myself.

• I was helping train a dog to hunt birds.

• Anywhere it is legal to hunt something.

• I tend to wear my boots in the house.
• I like to rope everything I see.
• I spend a lot more money than I should.

I feel anxious … when I can hear a rustling in the trees in front of me when I am hunting.

One of my favorite things to do is ride horses. I also really like to ride and build sand rails and/or go karts. I really like hunting, camping, and fishing. I love doing outdoor activities with my family. In my opinion the funnest thing to do in the Winter is Snowmobile!
